KANNAWIDAN Ylocos Festival 2014

          The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival 2014 is a feast that preserves the stunning cultures , customs and traditions of Ilokanos. There are a lot of festivals in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, but this one may be the most colorful and the grandest, as some say. The cultures of Ilokanos are to be proud of. In order to showcase these, the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival has tons of festivities and exhibit to promote our unique products and preserved cultures.

          The week-long celebration drew hundreds of local and foreign tourists because of the festival's more exciting and entertaining activities this year, as Governor Ryan Singson said in one of his interviews before from local news channels. I myself even watched, attended or joined some of the activities such as the Dancing Fountain and Fireworks Display, Parade of Vintage Cars and Bicycles, and Bamboo Live in Concert. I was also one of the students of the province who were awarded at the Siglat Iskwela Awards last first of February. 

          Now on the festival's 5th year. it had already established its identity as the prime festival of the province.
